360 dribbling is a plus but other than that doesnt feel much different

dl PES too give it a go...I think PES "feels" more like a soccer game but FIFA has a better overall package

the AI seems better on defense, the new corner kick camera is a big upgrade. the abilty to keep the ball going after a foul is a plus as well. other than that it hasn't been changed much. no need to overhaul a already excellent game.

While the 360 dribbling is a nice addition...the real improvement is to the man vs. man challenges that occur in a game. It used to be that if you pressed a button (X for the PS3) you would get the ball from the attacking player. However, now that isn't always the case; many times the attacking player still maintains some control over the ball. The trade off is that now the defender doesn't always need to apply hard pressure (by pressing X) in order to force the attacking play off the ball (often times, the defending player's momentum will do this). I think that this a deeper sense of realism. Also, its nice to see players run into each other, it gives the game a sense that those are tangible beings on the pitch. I didn't get FIFA 09, but I have a feeling that I will be picking up a copy of 10.

i love how much more realistic everything feels

i mean, it was sick in 09, but on 09, i could nail screamers from 30+ meters, on a run

now even one-on-ones with the keeper aren't so simple

this is going to be a great game. I just played the NHL 10 demo, that game seems like it'd be great if I knew all of the buttons.

The Fifa 10 demo is amazing. Got it a couple of weeks back and it just kicks the shite out of every other football game ever, including 09. It seems to have fixed the problem of defences playing way too high up and the 360 dribbling and skilled dribble make a big difference.

Wish I could change my arena player off of Frank Lampard though.
