I could get in, but not on the server with everyone on the board.
Thinking about just playing solo on another NA server and eventually finding a company.

Since the very beginning we have said transfers will be mid-Sept.
They aren't going to open up spots til then if I had to guess.
Unfortunately some of us were "legacy" players, and those servers have been the absolutely worst hit servers.. so it's basically been a "wait til mid-Sept." type situation since they closed servers down for new characters.
I would just create a character wherever and play the content, with duty finder (cross server parties) you can do all kinds of stuff for even more than a month, much less half of one, and then come join the group that's currently on Hyperion. (there is really only like 3-4 of us anyways so far, we are waiting for mid-Sept. to get more people anyways)
Go to the server that Blitzed is on.. and a few others.
ETA: At this point there are probably more people on whatever server blitzed is on than Hyperion anyways.

I have been playing on a JP server, but I just don't feel the same sense of community in past MMORPGs I've been a part of.
Now, I don't know if that is just because of the game or the server; but I'll continue playing on NA character when I can.

Hmm so are there 0 openings on any NA servers at this point?
and yeah, with the duty finder I could see how looking for a party on a JP server would end up being strange. I do recommend being on a EU or NA server so you can at least talk to people as you raid.

No, that's I'm playing on now.
But when I got the game on release day, that was the only server I could get on.
I'm a tank on the JP server and had to wait 10+ minutes in the duty finder.

Damn, i was hoping we wouldn't see anymore issues after the maintenance. My buddy got on this morning and was in a queue of 7, said it logged him on after 45 secs on the first try.
Looks like others on here are still having problems.
I thought about logging in this morning before work and camping until tonight, but I passed. We'll see how it goes tonight.

I think 1017 for the most part is gone, I think the 3102 will be fixed faster than it was during beta (took them an afternoon to find the problem then) and the error 9000 looks like a disconnect / packet loss on your end situation.. so I would say by tomorrow it is 100%, and by late afternoon today things are smooth.

The 3102 issue has been going on since OB, that's been what 3 weeks now? I want to be optimistic and think they would fix these issues by end of day or at worse tomorrow, but so far they have not shown they are capable of this. I think they have something much bigger going on server side, and either don't know what it is or haven't came up with an actual fix yet. I may be wrong though since I know nothing about what it takes for these games to function.

That means a game that was suppose to be DOA.. has.. ok, take that account and multiply it by 2 or 3..

I imagine the JP servers are getting bombarded right now. Sales for PS3 version just came out and it did 180k in its first week. PS2 version of FFXI did 150k lifetime.
