Solid find, but I cannot risk it on Fallout 4. Definitely will check this out for non-mission critical games though.

I paid with paypal so if something happens there shouldn't be a problem getting my money back. Found this on slickdeals.com

is it a steam key? they should have given it to you already if its a pre order. This is the site where i got mad max for $20 day before release.

ETA:: will prob just pay full price for season pass later on if keys are good. Also product information says platform is for steam. let me know if the code works. it should go into your library immediately.

These gray-market sites rarely have the Steam keys on hand for preorders (I call them gray-market only because it's essentially unknown where the keys come from). They sell keys in anticipation of how many they think they'll be able to acquire by the launch date. I've had one instance where greenmangaming oversold keys on a game and did not deliver by launch time. I refunded and just bought the game for retail (it was a midnight launch of some FPS). Most of the time, they send the key the day before launch.

I've purchased a few keys from sites like these and have never had a problem with invalid or later revoked keys. I have heard of it happening to others, though. I use my credit card through paypal every time.

I use them for almost every game, never had an issue, also use paypal every time. Never had a bad or revoked key on 20+ games whether it was Kinguin or CDKeys or G2A.

Cool, I guess that settles the dispute on whether or not i would buy. ive only got to play a few hours of NV because im still busy with Sword Coast Legends and raging at Dota.

Anything special mechanics wise i should work on to better my experience? I would like to see some text based guides too, all the videos with the 50s voice over kind of annoys me.

I guy all my games from these sites only had a problem once and was refunded within 2 days. They seem sketch but are totally legit. Also on g2a you can buy things such as xbl for 25 buck so a year subscription

The keys are legit but they weren't men't for the USA Market.

Those keys were suppose to go to 3rd world countries or the press.

In the worst case scenario, the are keys are purchased with stolen credits cards. This is the only scenario in which companies might revoke your game. However, this is always met with insane amounts of blow back from gamers.

A company is screwed regardless of what they try to do about this keys.

1) Revokes keys after the fact and get outrage across the internet that do in fact effect overall sales.

2) Limit key access the 3rd world countries and the press. They are already limiting keys to press for other reasons... cough Assassins Creed Unity... . People and third world nations will just pirate the game and the company gets nothing.

3) Bring attention to the issue via media just act like free press to these companies. The only reason I became aware of these stores is because of the press.

Finally, I recommend Kinguin over G2A and CDKeys. They had the most robust system in place to detect dirty re-sellers.

I bought a key from there the other day. I felt like such a dick for buying from there, but the code they gave me worked.

Use them for renewing my xbox live. Buy the year code from them for almost half price every time. PayPal is your friend though. Rather be safe than sorry there
