Still on the fence about this game, but I'm always a little bit excited for new MMOs.

I'm still on the fence as well. What drew me to TES in the first place was that in a vast open world, YOU were the one who was special. With this release they have taken that away. Maybe it will work, but it just doesn't seem like TES to me.

I'll probably still end up trying it out.

For those who played the beta, is it more of the same MMO?

I wouldn't say that, but it did not grab me at all. After playing for about 2 hours, I just didn't feel compelled to play any more.

I'm excited based upon graphics alone at this point. Add in the ability to get lost in the massive world and I'm sold. Player housing and true open world pvp would be the icing on the cake.

They should let you mod the hell out of this game.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but in my opinion these items I listed are all things that are missing from these cookie cutter mmos.

Just built a new system so it will look tight but I hate mmos. Was hooked for 7 years and don't relish the idea of getting hooked again.

messed with the beta, then cancelled my order for the game on Amazon.

Not worth price of game + monthly charge, in my opinion. Would rather wait for next elder scrolls in a year or so, or play skyrim or oblivion on 360.

Ya, rmc and I love this stuff because we were huge Ultima Online fans. That had open world pvp, housing, and crafting galore.

You didn't feel like you were on a rail line and going a predetermined path. You actually socialized and hung out some times. It wasn't all about the next level. Don't know if we'll get an experience like that again.

SWG briefly filled that gap until they caved to the power levelers. Crafting was huge in SWG along with the other stuff I posted.

Ya I missed playing SWG because I think I was still playing UO. I remember reading a lot about it and how it was sandbox as well. Sucks those games went away. Everybody hates getting killed all the time so the current style became predominant, yet, there is something missing when you play them, hence where we are with these games in the current market environment.

I still have faith that some company is going to take a bold step and try it again. I believe that there are enough of people like us to support it. I miss being addicted.

Development has taken too long.

I was pumped 8 months ago.

I'm over it now.

Won't buy in April. I'll wait the next single player ES

MMOs have really sucked as of late... the only way I get totally committed to this at launch is if D3: RoS drops around the same time. It isn't looking that way right now.
