I was a big sports video gamer growing up, but due to life, xbox was the last system that I ever owned. I look forward to when my son is old enough to ask for a new video game system.

Anyway, as I'm fairly certain that this discussion has come up on here before, do y'all remember MVP '06 & '07? Those games, Specifically '07, were so great in so many ways but especially for NCAA baseball enthusiasts like LSU fans. '07 was the "total package" when it came to sports games at that time, imo.

Moreover, the game only lasted for 2 versions, and I'm not completely sure why EA killed it. It was probably due to sales, but my biased eyes can't see that. From what I understand, the inception had to due with the MLB's ban EA's MLB licence or something.

Regardless, they should bring the game back.

After the lawsuits, I don't think you'll see NCAA video games again.

I wish EA would bring back the MLB version of MVP Baseball. Those were some great games

Our baseball clubhouse in high school was equipped with a TV, Xbox, and ncaa baseball. We had some heated matches.

I still dust off the ole PS2 and play it every spring. Played last night.

It was way ahead of its time in terms of mechanics for pitching and hitting. Still has great gameplay today

Yep I own both editions. My 07 copy just got scratched and it won't read so I can only play 06.

I have the 06 version. I suck at pitching and base running though. Kendall Rogers still sounds the same now as he does on the game.
