EA Customer Service is the Worst

CSB post and all but I need to vent.
I bought the Battlefront ultimate edition with the season pass yesterday on a whim. After waiting for the 25 GB of updates and DLC, I hop in excited to give it a run only to find out the EA account I haven't used since Mass Effect 3 came out is "temporarily locked for my security".
So I hop on to EA's help website as instructed and try to get in the support chat. My wait was supposed to be "5-10 minutes". 4 hours and multiple tries later, I gave up.
No phone number to call, no other option but the chat.
Looks like I am going to return it and never buy another EA product that doesn't say "Mass Effect" on the box.

I don't get this mentality. Politics has nothing to do with my patronage of a business. If they make a good product, I don't quote care what they do in the voting booth, in their head or with their genitals as long as they aren't hurting anyone else.

they have a shitty live chat system but their call back customer support is a 50/50 hit. First time using the call back i got some foreigner who just ended up pissing me off but I tried again and got someone who I could better understand and the experience was so much better.

I'm with you. I don't care that 1 of the hundreds of people that work in that game is a moron. If you go down that path you end up not buying anything.
