Tells me all I need. If you can finish it that fast, I'm not interested.

Playing now. Don't buy this, just rent it.

Wow. Glad I didn't have the space on my ssd. On impulse, I almost bought it, then noticed I was out of space. I would have been pissed with a 8 hour campaign.

Yeah it's not worth full price I paid $48 on GMG, and unless you MP it's not worth that.

I feel like the multiplayer will be dead in 3 months, at least on PC.

I did buy it on impulse yesterday morning. Reading the reviews has me hesitant to open it. Think will return it and wait til either they have a price drop or used copies start showing up.

I've put four hours into it so far. I wish they still made FPS games like. Even if the campaign is on the short side, it's a lot of fun.

Would a campaign like that really be good long though?

12-15 hours would be sufficient.

Heard in the reviews you could build your own levels. Has anyone built/ played shareable levels yet? If so, is it any good? I could see endless campaign style levels if the building and sharing process is any good. I'm as excited about the potential with it as I am the standard campaign.

I always wonder where people get these game lengths from. Im 15 hours in on normal difficulty having only died twice

That being said, im completely obsessed with looking for secrets because ya know, its a Doom game.

I redboxed it. I'll give my full review later, meaning a couple of half-baked sentences.

I always end up on the long side too. I also don't care about game length like so many other people do.

Well, after hearing and seeing such good things about the single player I decided to get it. That plus the awesome looking map creator will give it a lot replay ability down the road.

Snap map sounds like a hit and people are already recreating old levels

i got the BFG and had to call it quits last night. can't wait to finish it. it's really fun, but in no way does it warrant a full-price purchase. perfect game for rental. really well-done and maintains a classic feel with the right modern touches. the secrets are actually really well-hidden

Yes they are, I ran around areas 5 times trying to find the exit and STILL missed most of the secrets.

The game is a lot of fun, non stop action, but in the later levels there is no way I could do it without using GOD mode it's just too insane for my skill level on shooters.
