Play borderlands 2. Don't starve is good i guess, but I would only play it on my vita while sitting on a plane with nothing else to do.

I enjoyed it, made it to day 187 before suiciding because I was done.
I don't see how people are up into the thousands for days, it gets pretty stale once you have your fortress set up with everything you need.

I was obsessed with it. I survived for a little over 400 days on my longest run. Overall, I probably survived over 2000 days across multiple characters. When I lost my last one I was kind of disheartened and finally put it down. Everyone else thought it was weird as shite and my wife was creeped out by it. She thought I was having some kind of episode. In conclusion, it consumed my life for months, everyone thought I was weird and it scared my wife. I give it my fullest recommendation.

It is a great game....easily the most addictive of the survival genre. VERY unforgiving of sloppy mistakes.
Not a huge fan of reign of giants tho.
Do yourself a favor and play without a guide spoiling the quirks.

I played it a lot when it first came out on PS+. I havent for awhile because as you may have read, you'll eventually die no matter what and that gets a little annoying but it is really fun. I didn't get nearly deep enough into it. I just have other games right now.
