Maybe it's a sign I'm getting old but does anyone else prefer to have the physical copy of games?

I have some Xbone stuff I bought digitally but man nothing quite like opening up a new copy of a game, especially Christmas morning. Brings me back to when I was a kid I guess...

The more clutter I get in my house, the less I want a disc. I love digital.

As long as Steam doesn't go belly up I'm good with digital. I used to be a hard copy person.

Digital all the way for PC. As a kid I would've wanted the tangible disk no matter what, but now I'm all about streamlining the clutter. And for PC, there really isn't a reason for it anymore. Or rather, there isn't an option. Once the game is installed, the disk is useless. And it may help those with bandwidth caps, but then the game almost always has some kind of update to download anyway.

Christmas morning feeling aside, I only buy digital if it's a game I know I'll play the frick out of and keep. Otherwise I buy the disk version.

Only physical media I will purchase is Blu-Ray box sets of movies I watch 20-30 times. (Harry Potter and Star Wars)

I got burnt on the WiiU with a bad download of the Lego Hobbit game. Got almost to the end, and it constantly glitched.

That being said, I don't mind digital downloads.

I do like the feeling of opening up a new case. After that it's just clutter though and I hate switching discs.

For ps4: Games I play often I like digital. Games I play through once in a blue moon I prefer physical.

It's games like fifa that I want digital.

If I'm buying it for myself PC or console I go digital.

If I'm giving a gift or were to receive a gift hard copy... Bc it's cooler!

How is it managing hard drive space on consoles if you have a lot of digital purchases? Is it easy to delete games you've set aside and then redownload them later if you want?

I prefer to have the disc, but hate nothing more than having to insert it to be able to play. Now I refuse to buy physical copies because of the hassle.

If it's a yearly game or something I'm not sure about, I go physical. But if it's a game I've been looking forward to and know will play extensively, digital all the way. It is so damn nice not rooting around for discs.

Prefer digital, have 3.5TB of storage now on the X1 now.

What my wife did for my B'day, she bought a gift code from Gamestop and put the receipt in a demo box they gave her to wrap. Redeemed code on X1 and downloaded the game. Best of both worlds

I prefer having a physical copy, by far. When I found out they were releasing Shovel Knight on disc, I held out on playing it for months until the physical copy came out. Same thing for the Resident Evil HD remake. Its killing me not to play it, but the physical release is next month.

This makes no sense to me.

I'm a collector as well. I'd much rather a nice library of physical games as opposed to downloads on my console.
