I avoided the dragon on dark souls and managed to shoot its tail off for an Op weapon early in the game. Made things to easy.
Syrim. Some dragons can be a pain.

Im not sure why the character in that gif is taking so little damage, usually that move all but kills you haha

looks like he jumps directly into the flame attack
now i know nothing about dark souls, but being an rpg vet, he must have on gear that reduces fire damage

Oh, it's not a flame attack. It's a telekinetic grab & slam
the bright orange you see is the gemstone on his head that glows during said attack
