I'm running it very well on a mac with high settings
I'm not saying it's equal to a custom built PC, but your statement is inaccurate.

I am stuck at work and totally tweaking, I need my fix.
Got my mage to just under 1 mil damage.
Crusader is 63.

Dude, used to have it so nice. Would be able to forward the work phones to office cell an go home for the majority of the night. Guy messed It up for us all though so I sit here Fri/Sat/Sun every other weekend and have literally zero work to do.

Sounds similar to my situation but the work phone is my cell phone so I can leave when there is nothing going on.

This legendary drop rate is so awful.
Rubbing torment 1 rifts and bounties solo get 1 every hour to hour and a half and then it's something awful or not an upgrade over your rares

This game is still fricking impossible to me. I just started playing on Expert - Adventure mode - I run into a group of blues who jail me and my life just disappears in a couple of seconds. I obviously suck at playing, don't know what gear I should be equipping and suck at picking builds. Can anyone link to a good build and what stats are best to level up? Thanks.

you just have to stick it out, play act 1 or drop the difficulty down. use the mystic to upgrade gear you do have. just have to grind those packs for loot

Well I just beat it on Hard so I thought Expert was the next logical step...seems like a huge leap in difficulty.

That's your problem. As you progress in levels the monsters also progress in difficulty. It's not stagnant.
I started at 61 on torment and was running it with my mage, by the time I was at 69-70 I think I was down to hard as my gear hadn't improved enough and the mobs are tough.
Just keep running adventure games, difficulty doesn't matter, the lower the better as you're able to plow through it. Grab all the rares (yellows) and you will find quite a few upgrades. Do this until you are comfortable to move up in difficulty. Really though it doesn't matter I feel like I pulled quite a few more legendaries in games below torment then I do now. Maybe it's the ability to get through stuff quickly, but just seems to be a lot slower.

I didn't even think about that aspect of it. I pretty quickly leveled from 60 - 67.
