Yea I read up on some dayz boards and basically got dayz wasn't finished and wont be for a while (but when it is it will be legit) and Arma2 had cooler stuff currently than dayz. But everyone was split on which was better. Don't want to buy both and only ever play one really.

Whats you opinion on the two? Pros/cons

I played dayz mod (arma 2) for like 2 years before standalone came out. Standalone is a shite game and it's not going to get better IMO. Arma 2 has so many cool mods for it. I'd grab that. Or arma 3

tons of people still play the arma 2 mod ( most popular mod is overpoch) but arma 3 is pretty fricking awesome as well. Arma 3 just came out last year though so it's going to be a year or two before the mods are as good as arma 2. I would get both honestly.
