Anyone play it yet? The videos on Youtube of it look super fun. This may make me speed up putting a gaming PC together.

Man I want to play it so bad though.
I have been looking at pieces to put together a PC here and there but this really makes me want to speed that process up.

I was excited about it, the mod does look like fun if you can get into a good server. Im hoping that the zombie animations get better with future updates though.
I use to be a good pilot, but I tried flying a chopper last night and couldnt get the hang of it again. Its nothing like bf3's easymode flying

I'm holding out hope that the Steam summer sale puts Arma 2 as part of it. I like what I've seen in this mod.

Episode 1 of Nanners series had me absolutely dying today, if you get it, I will.

Man...I really wanted to take my time setting up a gaming PC so I could get everything I wanted but now I might rush it then I can upgrade shite later I guess.
Wish my laptop could run it. I need to see what specs Arama 2 requires. My laptop is pretty BA for a laptop.

What makes this so appealing?

Its like Minecraft in the sense that I have no idea why it looks so fun. Guess the zombies and whole survival deal.

Cool! What's the holdup on the gaming rig then, $?

It looks really fun but I can't afford to build a gaming PC.

Sort of. I mean money isn't an issue but I want to build a good PC but then everything I add up with the parts I want I am like SG Geaux with a $2000+ PC without any peripherals. Not sure I want to spend that on something that goes obsolete so quickly. I have a hard time talking myself into a lesser PC though.
I look at it as something I want to do right but not sure how much time I would use it since everyone here is still on consoles.
Just sort of confused/need to talk myself into it.
Also, the fact that I know I will have the next Xbox and PS the day they release and I am not sure how much that will run me. I should just say frick it and pull the trigger.

I have a suspicion that Day Z will be a lot better cosmetically when Arma 3 comes out and it is updated for that game.
The creator of Day Z is a Bohemia Interactive employee, so he knows what is coming with Arma 3. And BI realizes what Day Z has done for sales of Arma 2, so I suspect they will do what they can to help it out.

What exactly are you missing out on by rushing to build a gaming pc and not taking your time? You really wouldn't know the difference if you bought a high end graphics card today instead of waiting a year. Same goes for processors, they're so fast these days with all the core i6 or i7(I don't actually know if they've gone that high, just using it as an example) I doubt you could tell the difference in speed. I could be wrong here but unless you don't know what you're doing I don't see the point in taking your time.

Read my post post to Jeff. Just sort of back and forward a lot on what I want. I research shite all the time and my mind changes constantly on what I want.
It's pissing me off really.
I hate to spend a ton but then I would hate to get something and be pissed I didn't get what I really wanted.

Upgrading after the fact is fairly simple
Life is too short to miss out on cool shite you want to play

Gotcha. Well you can save yourself a ton by not buying a monitor. I always start with the case, find one I like that's big enough to fit all the shite I want. I think you'll be happy with what you get if you build it yourself. Don't cave in and just buy an alienware.
