I'm currently in the painted world right now. Those dudes that roll around in the pit are freaking miserable.

If they rolled into my shield, they wear away at my stamina until I have non left and can't block anymore. Guess I just need to run in, flip the swithc and get out.

I figured it out 
I was supposed to open the locked door on the side of the bridge the dragon was on.
Is that wizard guy i helped useful later?

Just defeated Smaugh and Ornstein (frick these dudes). Been collecting souls trying to upgrade weapons, working on lightning zweihander right now.

Finally picked up Dark Souls again, had just begun NG +++ when i stopped. Just bought the DLC and working my way through the game so I can access it.
I just rang the second bell, is there anything I need to be sure to avoid that would not allow me to access the dlc? I was thinking of killing the hydra next then heading to Sen's Fortress to Anor Londo.

Need access to hydra and the dukes archives.
There is a golem in the beginning areas of the archives that carries a broken pendant. Gonna need that.

So I just kill the Hydra, free Dusk and talk to her. Then head to Anor Londo and get the Lordvessel then kill Golem in the Archives, and return pendant to area with Dusk. Right?

Pinwheel was the biggest joke ever. I have +5 Lightning Uchigatana, rolled behind him when fight begun then killed him in 5 slashes. Couldn't believe it was over already.
