had someone attack me earlier with: 3 barbs, 1 hawg rider, 37 six star archers, 1 five star giant, 5 five star wall breakers, 9 five star goblins, 4 three star pekkas, 3 three star dragons, lvl 3 king, lvl 1 queen, and their clan castle 
took 71k gold, 195k elixer, 597 DE and did 66% damage. making me lose 5 trophies

i had a shield and started clearing the campaign maps earlier and it made me wonder if im the only one who does this.
They arent bad for resources and i have been able to clear all of them up to where i am now (the 150k each levels) with only a few wb, clan troops, and a rush of lvl 4 barbs. it really gets to be worth it once the resources get good.

I like playing the campaign mode and trying to get all of the stars.

that's why i started it until i realized what easy resources they are while you are under a shield.

2nd to last one wasn't too hard I think that's the one you can drop archers on the edges to knock out the air defenses. I 100% that one. I've left the last one until I need the resources 800k/800k. For a big upgrade

changed my base set up slightly. moved all my storage units inside my walls and most of them closer to my base. got tired of people dropping 100 archers/100 barbs outside my walls and walking away with no trophies but 100k in elixer/gold 
seems to have worked. guy just attacked me with his lvl 1 king, 167 five star archers, 2 two star dragons, 4 barbs, clan castle, and 3 four star lightning blasts. he did 44% dmg and walked away with 37k gold, 2k elixer, 188 DE. and left me 17 trophies

Is it possible to turn off the push notifications for this game on your cell? I did it in my iphone settings, but I still get bombed in the middle of the night telling me my archor tower is now ready. DRIVES ME CRAZY.

Been having a really shitty time attacking people lately. Seems like more often now I can't even get 50% damage. Not sure what the problem is. But my defenses have been holding well. Looked at the phone a few minutes ago and see that I gained 44 trophies from failed attacks.
