It was not until I got my own pirate that I realized he came with revite 5/5. I thought there was just an abundance of 5/5 revite pirates.

Yea I noticed the last torch battle was lacking from full participation. I've finally starting getting my heroes up to par. Incription is in the 40s for all of my main heroes at this point. I'm not sure the best level to shoot for? 80?

Also, when do you guys do boss battles? Guild message says 21:30 CC time but it seems to be earlier than that. Is it still let the weaker guys go in first then everyone after that?

I have all my guys at 80+. It's cheap to get them to 80, but after that it gets a lot more expensive.

I have been missing them a lot over the past month, but I believe it's still 8:30 central on most days. But I think on torch battle days (wed and sat) they do boss right afterward at 8:00.

Yeah, we let the weaker players start right away, then big guns start when boss's health gets below 80m. I've been noticing a few times though that we have several "weak" players who do like 25m damage in one round, so when they all finish at 3 minutes in the boss is already dead sometimes. I think it's time to rethink it.

They changed the way might affected the game, so people have really pushed to get really high

They added some features that make it easy to boost might (inscriptions, mainly), plus you can pad your might by collecting a lot of heroes and bumping their skills up to level 3 or 4.

The strategy used to be to keep might low so that your top heroes would have an easy time raiding bases, but now resources are so plentiful that it's kind of pointless. They added the rewards based on might as further incentive to boost might (it also gives you an advantage in arena, as if anyone cares about that anymore). Get your might up to 80k asap so you get those 100 free gems per day. I hit 80k like 6 months ago and then I stopped trying to increase it further. Also some of my dupe heroes that I had for padding might have since been consumed to evolve a few guys, so lately every time my might gets a little higher it drops right after I evolve a hero.

I'm slowly but surely raising my might. I'm at 62k atm. For those just returning, focus on Inscription for your main heroes asap. I went from a really weak team with all 170+ lvl heroes to wrecking shop in most game modes by boosting Inscription.
