Can someone point me to an affordable SSD to upgrade my Macbook?

I think 128gb should be fine. I have a 1 TB external hard drive. On a budget so price matters, but I've read shitty things about some of the cheaper ones.

Any help is appreciated!

TIA

You bought a Macbook, any SSD is affordable.

Get a Samsung.

Too bad you missed out on the intel 530 ssd for only $130.

Crucial M500 240 GB is $140 on Amazon. You didn't say what your budget is, but if you really think 128gb is enough then go with the Toshiba Q pro series. The 128gb is $90 on Amazon.

Financed it last June. So no, any SSD is not affordable. I have 4 months left before I completely pay it off.

Financed a computer?

Did you also finance a trailer home?

I have a pair of old 120gb G-Skill phoenix ssd's in my desktop and they are stupid fast in raid. I have had them running 247 as a server for 5 or 6 years with no hiccups.

What raid? 10?

If RAID 0 then I hope this is just for your OS/Boot because SSDs can just drop dead. What server OS are you running? None of them have native TRIM so I hope you are sending a TRIM code to those drives.
