Damn this game is tough on hard. Those handymen are a bitch and can't stay on the rails too long or they shock them and you can't ride.
Just made it to Lady Comstock in the graveyard and was getting my arse waxed. Any pointers for when I try again tonight?

yeah im playing on Hard, too
i like challenges and dont want to rush thru this game
with that said i havent even gotten to elizabeth yet.

Hard made the game less enjoyable for sure. But the whole second half of the game i felt like it would get easier and never changed difficulty for fear of missing an achievement. I will definitely be going back and playing on medium so that i can play the game where i actually feel like some badass instead of the weakest person in the whole city that luckily has infinite respawns

Same here, but like sgallo said, by being killed so much, it can get frustrating. I will go back on easy afterwards and explore everything. I know I will miss some recordings...

no doubt. imma gets my $60 worth.
i do see what gallo means. but so far everytime ive died its been due to a mistake of mine that ive been able to correct.
just got to play smart. kite fools back to salts and health packs. set traps in chokepoints. dont get out of cover. wait for shields to regen. melee when appropriate.
easier said than done and im sure ill hate life later in the game when i dont have enuff shite upgraded due to not having coin due to dying.
ah well. such is life in Columbia

I'm doing 1999 right now. So far I haven't died but I am only going to upgrade what I absolutely need. I was hoping my infusions would transfer over but that didn't happen.
