SPOILERS!!!!!!!!

The game was great and I really have no problems whatsoever with the ending and the ambitious ending. I still would've preferred a full blow out but there's nothing wrong with a little mystery.

However, this game did suffer from a lack of creative writing and emotional point of views and you can really see that by Paul Dini's absence showing through. There was a couple side quests that was just anti-climatic as hell.

One thing that really bothers me with the ending is how Batman just let Jason Todd go. Former sidekick or not, he still literally invaded a sovereign city, took it hostage, killed hundreds and engulfed the city in fear gas and that's thousands of light years over the line he swore to never cross and Batman would never tolerate that in 99.99% of the time. Batman should've still gone after Jason after he took care of Scarecrow because Jason Todd is guilty as frick and has a lot to answer for. That's a huge pothole right there. Bigger than your mommy's butt.

The narrative wasn't as smooth, but that's the trade off for the crazy amount of side missions (loved them and the diversity of gameplay)

Moments like when taking out the missile launcher, they throw an elongated cobra tank sequence in

A lot of that fluff I loved though. I loved the puzzle solving with the batmobile and it made it feel like a batman gadget. If the 1989 batmobile comes with "shields" I may splooge

I'm also going on record that I love this rendition of the red hood so much more than the comics

And how they ironically used inside my head joker to fill in the backstory with some really good scenes

And I think that ambiguous ending gets cleared up. The rest of the DLC is way meatier and takes place before during and after the game with all 3 robins plus batman

The season of infamy doc looks to be a whole new wheel of sidemissions with some awesome bad guys

again, I don't think the story is over. I think we get a clearer ending that may involve Bruce Wayne and jason todd's relationship

The azrael and hush side missions were so dissapointing. They were left off as cliffhangers in city and it looked like they were going to frick shite up as big baddies but that didn't happen. It was anti climatic and not a whole lot of drama involved in it. Rocksteady made a mistake letting Paul Dini go as he should've finished the Triology he started.

Well, he's a piece of shite that went light years beyond the line he swore to uphold as robin after the shite he did as The Arkham Knight. White hats like Green Lantern, Superman and Wonder Woman would chase him to the end of time and anti-heroes like Punisher, Suicide Squad and Wolverine would just kill him.

The enemy in me is a trope that's rarely used and it was played to perfection here. Joker absolutely scared the shite out of me the first time. I also love how Batman refused to acknowledge his delusions until the end.

I hope it's as good or even better than cold cold heart which was like a playable episode of BTAS. It was so awesome.

Still hoping for a batcave here.....

Batman, Nightwing and Robin vs The Arkham Knight in a well done real fight.

If that happens, I will forgive Ricksteady for the annoying and stupid cobra tank fights and lack of boss battles.

This red hood has a better motivation of character

The whole I don't blame you or hate you but we keep fighting, but I am mad you didn't kill the joker was eeeeh. Fine but I like the

You left me to die and I hate you

Red hood much more

couldnt have said it better. It really felt like you had the joker in your head

That was very BTAS/comics. Loved it.

Cold cold heart was good but the boss fight was an elongated knockoff. Mr freeze, ra's al ghul, killer croc, mad hatter and Prometheus are confirmed villains for the season of infamy DLC

Comics red hood is a great anti-hero and someone that Batman won't let into his operations but is willing to work with him when it's necessary.

Arkham Knight's red hood is a deranged and evil piece of shite that's public enemy number one and is delusional enough to think he can actually walk away scot free after he invaded gotham with an army, killed hundreds and the other shite he pulled for scarecrow in a vendetta against Batman.

killer croc

I hated his boss fight in asylum and not knowing which direction he was coming from to throw the batarang at him. It scared the shite out of me.

I prefer my bad guys to be the kind that want to kill batman (or make him a bad guy)

As much as I love Jason todd's story, I could never fully empathize with his train of thought. In the arkhamverse batman left him to rot, moved on pretty quickly, and so we have a motivation for Jason Todd to want to kill batman rather than competing with him

I don't think batman has any intention of leaving Todd out there. I think he feels (and is) responsible so he will want to help him, but the events of the game are bigger than that. He needs to stop scarecrow and rescue his allies first and foremost. Todd gives him the slip, but batman prioritizes with the intention of rescuing Todd after he saves Gotham. At the point he reveals himself, it looks like Todd is taken out of the game. The islands are clear of tanks and almost all militia, the cloudburst is destroyed, and batman is on borrowed time before he becomes joker (robin is close to a cure, which would be the make him the greatest medical researcher in history because i assume this cure would also work for CJD)

Todd an batman also share the same affliction in the game making Todd more interesting. They both have joker in their brain.

1989 skin and batmobile released today with two button inspired race tracks

You can use the batmobile in free roam only after you've completely cleared the city of tanks (that's super fricking lame)

They announced the tumbler batmobile next

The big DLC will be season of infamy which is mission based content

I played through the 3 DLC story packs this past weekend. I thought they were fun, especially being free.

The Batgirl with Robin was my favorite and the longest. Quinn was okay but my least favorite. And I did like the Red Hood story where you straight up killed people even if it was very short.

Bump to make sure this thread doesn't get locked when infamy comes out in December.

Game also has been relaunched on stream and PC is available and patched I think as well.

Btw, I fricking love playing this game with the original Arkham Asylum Skin. It's THE Batman Uniform this game should be playing with. The main uniform they designed for Knight looks way too busy too me.

GOAT uniform.

Season of Infamy is out and it's downloading now. Can't wait.

The original Arkham batmobile is in there too.
