Are there no good football (ncaa or nfl) games for PC?

prior to the G1 XBOX i use to play hockey exclusively on PC. But ever since the PS1, I have always played football and bball on console. I can't really imagine playing football, bball, and hockey on pc anymore.

There wasn't really a market for it because it was so much easier to mod the game to include the roster and stat changes of the new editions.
