Are there any other 3DS games that are good besides the Zeldas?

Took a job with a cybersecurity consultancy firm that does a ton of international work a few months ago, so I've been looking at things to occupy me in the hotel rooms 
. I'm dying to play the Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask again, so I'm looking at the 3DS XL. I never got to play OoT master quest, and I heard the HD upgrades on MM are incredible, so I feel like the purchases are warranted.
Only issue, though, is that all the other 3DS games look weird and unappealing to me. I'm scared that I'll buy the console and the 2 zelda games, beat them, then never touch it again until I want to play them down the road. Any suggestions on other games that are pretty good? Is this investment worth my time?
Also, recommendations on a decent gaming laptop to play older PC games would be cool too. Will build a desktop PC for newer stuff later, just want something that can play older games like Stalker, the Thief series, the original Deus Ex, etc for nostalgia purposes.

seriously, I constantly frick around on my 3ds when the wife is watching housewives or I can't sleep
and ocarina and majora's mask are remastered, and IMO, the definitive versions of the game.
Mario vs. donkey kong toy puzzle games are awesome for a frick around flight and the snes and nes library have some titles worth revisiting...I play the original donkey kong all the time.

Thanks for reminding me of that. Really wanted to play it back when it came out but didn't have a DS. Forgot about it by the time I bought a 3DS.

Pokemon, Zelda, Fire Emblem and Kid Icarus on the 3DS. Honestly the library of great games is larger on 3DS than my PS4. Yea the systems age is greater but still.

Playing through Bravely Default now and enjoying the heck out of it. Fire Emblem is always great also.

It's very worth it. For a long time, I spent more time playing my 3DS than I did anything else combined.

Most of these games listed you can play on emulators.
