Anyone order one of the new Xbone plug n play controllers?

Is the range any better? I constantly get dropouts with the current controller. I have bought 3 and they are all the same way. I hope the new one is better.

Do you have a wireless surround sound receiver by any chance?I had one and it caused interference with my controllers constantly.I even had Microsoft send me a new console thinking that the wireless card was going bad.Turned out it was my surround sound receiver.
