Anyone ever used PS4's remote play to play on Mac/PC?

I didn't even know this feature existed.
Has anyone here tried it? Does it run smoothly?

I played Dark Souls 3 on my Macbook Air when my wife wanted to watch Once Upon a Time in March or so. It was a decent experience. The resolution is not great but it's a smooth experience.

It's pretty smooth yeah, but only 720p as mentioned.
I believe the PS4 Pro does 1080p for it.

Lots of variables but if your game isn't depending on latency then it's not bad

Yep, you get the app from sony on your Windows or Mac and it works just like remote play on the vita, you just have to usb the Dualshock 4 to your PC.

I tried it but it was pretty laggy. I'm thinking it was because I had a lot going on my wifi though. Going to give it another try tonight.
As far as setup goes, couldn't get much easier.

If it's anything like Xbox, the PS4 just streams the game on your laptop. The PS4 is running the game, but it is just being displayed and controlled on the laptop.
