Was just thinking earlier today about how great a Mass Effect-esque Star Wars game would be. Are there any non-Battlefront games in the works?

There's the Visceral game coming out someday.

Otherwise, if you want a Mass Effect-like Star Wars experience, have you played SW:TOR?

I know of it, but just don't like playing games on the computer, or at least I assume there's not a version I can play on the Xbox One?

There were at least 3 or 4 shown in very early development during this year's E3. Google Star Wars E3 2016 and prosper. Most of the games are a long way from release, however.

I beat the first one atleast 10 times. I'd much rather KOTOR 2

I'm pleasantly surprised I got KOTOR to run on PC this morning. Usually it's a crashing mess but I got through the endar spire with no issues at all.

You know this game already exists?

Unless you're referring to a more preferable remake option.

My boss and I were talking about how a Star Wars game in the vein of GTA where you play as the criminal types like smugglers and bounty hunters would be bad-arse.

I'd play the shite out of that.

Yeah

I know it's cheap. But I'm cheaper. My original Xbox still runs perfectly fine. I usually wipe the dust off of it during baseball season to play NCAA baseball

Hell yeah. I'd probably quit work and school tho.
Or be fired/dropped from classes for not showing up. Especially if you could be a Jedi.
Light sabers would be a definite "I'm never leaving my room" deal

Swtor is pretty fun as long as you treat it as 8 separate single player games instead of an MMO. You got 8 classes with each one having a pretty long and cool story. The classes are Republic Trooper, Smuggler, Jedi Kmight, Jedis Consoler, then there is Imperial Agent, Bounty Hunter, Suth Warrior, and Sith Sorcerer.

They actually updated kotor 2 in May of 14 on pc. They added achievements, controller support, higher resolution support, and general bug fixes. It's great and I wish they did that for the first.

I've only played KOTOR 1. How does KOTOR 2 compare to it? I feel like the reaction was pretty lukewarm when it initially released.

With the bug fixes, KoToR 2 is up there with 1 as far as story goes. I rather enjoyed it.

I find the story in 1 to be better but 2 is a great game. With no level cap the 2nd half of 2 can be very easy but it's worth playing.

I've been on the watch, but nothing out there for us Mass Effect lovers that hate melee.

I broke out the 360 for another triology run.
