Tales of Symphonia introduced me to the series and since then I have been greatly deprived of Tales games on Nintendo consoles. ;_;

Hopefuly the rumors of that one also coming to PS4 is true. It seems like it takes them a while to get localized.

I don't think the games sell all that well in North America, so it's not as big a priority for Namco as a game like Tekken.

Well they have, but it's still not a huge franchise over here. In Japan, the Tales franchise rivals Final Fantasy.

Not quite, but Tales of is a Japan first series without a doubt.
Xillia did quite well, and they've put a much larger effort on getting the games out more often and faster. Zestiria is supposed to be releasing later this year.
