Here is a report about supposed launch time frame and prices for the 720.

$500.00 dollar price point
$300.00 with 2 year subscription to live gold at 10 bucks per month.

the always online requirement and its OS is a variant of WIN. 8 is seriously going to make me wait on this unit. They have obviously not learned a thing about online DRM issues.

Yea it would be. You would come out ahead over 2 years vs buying the $500 model and 2 years of live but it probably has a way smaller hard drive or something.

Yea it is..if you do the math a $500 unit plus 2 years of gold service is 620.00...
A 300.00 unit wit 2 years of gold is 540.00 and the last 240.00 is spread out over 2 years...

Right, so when you sit down to play a game and all of sudden you lose internet due to service issues, you tell me you are going to be happy that you cant play a single damn game because your 720 cant connect?...

I thought gold was 10$ a month.
2 years=24 months
24x10=240
500+240=740$
Or am i missing something?

We can make assumptions all day long about how we think it will work but that doesn't make them fact.
