Yesterday IGN's stream didn't work very well. But youtube and twitch worked well. In case anyone was wondering.

Streams are always iffy. I think all these sites get more traffic these couple of days than they do all year.

I think Bethesda already won E3. I will be amazed if someone can outdo them.I can't wait for all the fall delays for other games to not compete with fallout

Some games media are saying there is some big stuff coming today. I'm interested to see if there really is or not.

it's a job that allows you to buy the games that will be announced today, and you will still be able to go home and watch all of the content being streamed from Youtube to Twitch to GT to IGN - it's allllll good

this generation has been a pretty big disappointment for the most part - that being said, games take way longer to make these days so we can't expect the "good" games to come out as quick this generation as they have in the past, it's just not going to happen and people need to be patient.

Exactly. People were overreacting and overlooking the good games because it didn't fit their argument. Slow years happen.

Thank god for E3 because it keeps me distracted from the rant. That place is unbearable right now.

To be fair, games are more expensive and take longer to make, but honestly, this is not good for the industry. This is why gaming now centers around a handful if major franchises pumping out Madden-like sequels every year. Better that than to take a risk with a new IP and fail horribly.

A sequel to a game like The Order probably would've been very good, but we'll never know as the game sold poorly due to its critical reception.

I'm going to be honest. The PS4 is a great console and yeah it is a little bit more powerful in the graphics department than the Xbox One. That being said, the One is a much better console IMO because of all the online features that it gives you. It's not just a console that sits there and collects dust while you're watching television or doing other things. It can be your entertainment center all in one place. It's really nice being able to get on my iPhone or Surface Pro with the Smartglass app and use them as a remote or use them to look at television listings instead of having to minimize the screen on the television.

Outside of The Show and Bloodborne, I don't see any exclusives that make me want a PS4 over a Xbox One.

I feel like myself on the gaming board. On the rant I get extremely pissy and let trolls get to me. I have gotten to where I hate going over there as well. But it's like a car crash. It's horrible but you can't look away

and see I'm the exact opposite from his opinion,

Video games are the fastest growing form of entertainment and medium across the world

Yes the games are getting bigger, yes the budgets are getting bigger, but we are also seeing a MASSIVE influx of people playing video games. It's basically become a normal thing to play video games now, nobody is NOT playing video games. Because of this we are seeing indie-esk titles like Bloodborne selling more than 3million+ copies and it's an EXCLUSIVE.

This industry is going to keep getting bigger as our generation ages and doesn't put gaming down, and as our kids grow up and play more games than we ever did. It's going nowhere.

The alarmist who say "video games are so expensive to make, and take so much longer to make, this is not good" - fail to realize that the developers are choosing for this to happen, because they KNOW the return on their investments are there - they wouldn't be doing it in the first place if it wasn't.

Cheer up - glass is half full, and the world will keep on spinning, and our games will continue to get better.
