OK dicks, let's say I wanted to get a second box for my bedroom. How do I go about getting my gamertag and shite from one to the other?

recover your gamertag each and every time you switch from one to the other, about a 5 minute process....

i have an hdmi splitter on my ps3 which is also wired to another room
the wireless controller works fine through the wall and I can go play in the other room if i need to

Each xbox has 3 free one month gold accounts you could use, so for 3 months you wouldn't have to do the recover process../shrug

Put your Xbox Live profile on a memory card and you won't have to recover it every time. You can just move the memory card from room to room.
I used to play at friend's places a lot, and did this, so I know for certain that it works.

i did this with my computer in my old apartment.
23" Dell flat screen in my bedroom and my 46" Samsung(broken) flatscreen in my livnig room.
Gyro wireless keyboard and air mouse.
So for get togethers or apartment parties could have iTunes, youtube, or a movie on the 46" but could get some photoshop or work work done in my bedroom on my desk.

Just put your gamertag on a jump drive. That's what i did when I was always going all over to play.
