Pro tip or in my case noob tip, you can deposit all collectables while in the field by clicking on the gear in the upper right hand corner of your inventory screen.

First time walking into PvP and had fun playing "find and kill the DoUrden"
I got some PvP items lastnight that can be turned in for upgrades. As soon as I find out how I will turn them in and get better gear. They got me set up with a scepter and torch but want to go to a staff.

I should have done less level grinding and more sleeping. Apparently I missed out on all the pvp!!
In response to Mr. Sick Freak, all ya need to do is check out the glory rank 1 merchant in the Heart of the Mists zone & buy a PVP salvage kit. This will allow you to break down pvp items(except the free ones) into various component materials needed to "craft" pvp gear using the mystic forge. You can also purchase "tokens" from said vendor that are specific to each slot(ie: head, feet, etc), I think it works the same way with weapons, but I could be wrong there.

Also, on a side note, I always hear Rukky and a few others talking about the dwagons being up or not & I came across this resource that is kept current as best as I could tell:

wow if that thing is accurate, that will be a huge benefit. At 3s+ for a port we could save a lot of money.
On another note I'm not sure if it's possible but if we could create a battle and join each other manually it would make for some fun times of killing each other.

Fracted will have to get with you in game for a walk though of the mystic forge. I just been trying to level, skill up crafting, and doing zones and have not played around with the forge to see how it works for PvE or PvP.
Lastnight I think we Qed up for 4 v's 4, played around 8 games, and DoUrden was on my team 3 out of the 8. We was wondering if they set it up like this because of how WoW went witht he Premade groups.

Sure, anytime...just hit me up in-game - my mains name is Draecas or go by fracted.9136. The mystic forge is kind-of an unknown quantity when it comes to what all one can create with it. But I do have a resource(link or google doc, id have to find it) that has an incomplete work-in-progress list of recipes for the mystic forge. I remember a specific section containing PVP recipes.
I'm not at home at the moment, but when I get back I'll see if I can't find the link.
As far as the above quote, to my knowledge it depends on how you enter initially. If you go in as a "squad/party" to the free tourneys then I think it gives you a 5 minute window to hop in once the battle starts, if you don't want to join in, you don't have to, but as long as someone from the original party continues on to the next battle, everyone else can join in if they want or not if they dont.
Too bad you can't research an upgrade that gives the guild 24/7 access to a battlefield wherein we can hop in and beat on each other whenever we like!
