anyone going? was thinking I should maybe look into taking the family here so they could try crawfish when we first get into town. its only 3 bucks and then we can go on to the quarter and do a few tourist things.

27,000 pounds in 100 minutes. That's impressive. They should have restricted the amount of tickets you could get. I was under the impression I could get only 3 pounds. Not the case at all.

I was up on the steps. Got there abut 15 minutes before it started. Wasn't miserable at all. Quality better than what I had at Seither's a few weeks ago. $20 for 3 beers, 1 water, and 9 lbs of crawfish for my husband and me. Nice way to spend a couple of hours actually.

I think the problem is they were letting people leave with huge boxes of crawfish to take home. It should have been 3lb limit.

exactly. I saw a TON of people leaving with crawfish to-go…as soon as I noticed they were letting everyone get as much crawfish as possible, I knew it wouldn't last till the scheduled time of 6

but jones I sat across from 2 folks from the Westbank…could have been your parents but they were nice and we enjoyed our crawfish and beer…100% agree with TigerGrl good way to spend 2 hours…this event reminds me of the folks bashing on the brew fest a month or so ago at champion's square…I went and had a blast…drank great beers and hung out with friends…everyone on here was bitching about it because it was 40 bucks and you could buy all the beers at the grocery store…boo fricking hoo

Dollar a pound and they let people leave with boxes of it. Im sure lots of people in the parks and at the Fly today were enjoying the deal of a lifetime.
