That's what I like best about kcups. I try flavors and types that I never would never bother trying otherwise.

But stink and temp my point is what's the point in trying all these flavors and brands if they're all weak and watery? Which I've found all are. Maybe that's just how some folks like their coffee.

Exactly, it is like drinking a Ultra or miller 64

They obviously aren't all weak and watery. If they were they wouldn't be wildly popular. Can you get a better cup of coffee? Sure. Is the cup I'm drinking now miles better than the garbage Community drip that everybody in south Louisiana swears by? Yes indeed.

I'm not disagreeing. But to claim all k-cups are shite is just silly hyperbole. The coffee I'm drinking now tastes great. Starbucks Sumatra on the medium cup setting.

Coffee Mavens
I'm drinking a half & half right now. It's perfect.

the Starbucks via packets are surprisingly good. Just put in your cup and run hot water only from the keurig machine. Much better than using the kcups IMHO.

Definitely agree with that. A very good option for instant coffee that actually tastes like coffee

I guess I would consider my taste in coffee to be on the lighter side. I went my whole life up until about 3 years ago not caring for coffee at all. I add sugar and I add milk so guess I do like it with less of a coffee taste being I'm altering the taste as soon as a pour a cup.
But my mom and dad have been coffee drinkers their whole loves and they have told me before that some of the styles that I have in the cabinet were a bit stronger that they like. They drink it black though.
But in regards to "coffee" it probably makes up about 1/3 of the drinks I enjoy out of the Keurig.
You say it only takes 10 minutes to make your cup of coffee...takes me a minute and "i" enjoy it. At 2 cups a day, I'm saving approximately 2 hours a week that you are spending making coffee. 8 hours a month. 4 whole days a year...

I usually drink french press every morning, but my office had a Keurig set up until recently. Occasionally I would want/need another cup of coffee at some point in the day and would use the "dark magic" K cup, can't remember who actually made it. I thought it was pretty good for what it was. I also liked the earl grey tea k cup. We don't use the Keurig system anymore because people were stealing the K cups. We switched to some other proprietary coffee system that I think is only available for commercial applications.

I don't know you but reading your post it seems like you have nothing but time to kill.

But everyone should do themselves a favor and get one of these:
It's a reusable K cup - you can put whatever kind of coffee grounds or tea leaves you want in it!

Those suck. The water doesn't go through the bottom and spills out of the sides of it. The knock off ones are much better at allowing the water to brew all the way through the grinds.
