It ain't easy! After hearing how great the tamales are at the Donut Shop in Natchez, when I passed through the other day, I had to give em a taste. Tamales were fantastic, but not one of my better ideas.

I buy them at the farmers market and eat them before I leave the parking lot.

At least you're not driving while eating them.

Did you get your phone all greasy while posting this and driving ?

they didn't have an inside dining area, only a picnic table outside in the brisk 95 degree air and I had to mosey on down to B Rahhh. I laid a towel on my chest, I think it helped?
they were so juicy, I had to suck on one end to dry em out enough to get the husk off one handed.
by the time I got to woodville, I had tamale bits scattered from the steering wheel to gear shift to cup holders to passenger seat.
maybe not one of my better ideas???

Those are great tamales. Their regular glazed donuts are on point when they are fresh from the grease.

Ate a few while driving through New Mexico this past week. Picked them up at a gas station in Jal.

I'm never passing there at donut time, but unfortunately, it's always tamale time.

Geauxt...I actually opened this up thinking that you'd eaten a bunch of those red candies and crapped your Depends.

Same, I'll be driving up to Crossett, AR in 2 weeks for work

I can't eat tamales and drive because it would make my fingers too greasy so I couldn't text and I'd probably spill my beer.
