Whole onion on grill recs

I know butter and wrap in foil. What's the board go to recipes?

Salt and pepper those bad boys and serve them right on top of grilled pork.

If you wanted to get real fancy you could smoke a couple and make a nice jar of relish or onion jam. I bet it preserves well if you're into canning.

I wrap a white onion in foil. Cut the top off and then dig out a little hole and smash a beef bouillon cube in it. Let it cook for a while indirect cube up till soft. Pull off the grill and mix it all up.

Cut in half from top to bottom.
Hollow a small section about 1/2" in the center.
Drop 1/2 a Chicken bouillon cubes in it.
Sprinkle with fresh cracked black pepper and EVOO
Wrap in foil.
Cook til tender.

I just wrap them in foil, and put them ON the fire/coals/wood.

Remember to turn them sporadically....
