You damn right!!

Uncle Jack-
That's 16 beer taps and 2 wine taps. Unfortunately no bourbon taps.
Hopefully the beer taps are filled with good stuff. And maybe Whole Foods will help Lafayette's beer game

Indeed there is

It's just a bigger store that offers more "whole food" choices. They also have little eating spots inside the store.
Rouses reminds me alot of a whole foods. If I lived right next to Rouses, I probably wouldn't drive out of my way to WF. But I do enjoy me some WF

You may never go to Rouse's again, unless you live across the street from Rouse's.

Whole Foods is awesome.. but expensive.. When you can, stick to the 365 brands.. They're less expensive but still very good quality.

Lafayette WF is going to have a bar, or BR location has one?

BR does not have a bar. It will be the only one in Louisiana with a bar

It's significantly better. I probably wouldn't battle the traffic if I lived next to a Rouses, but it is absolutely better. I cannot wait. Worth the extra $$$ IMO

Love WF. Sometimes go there for lunch and have a beer. My local WF doesn't have 16 taps, though. It's not how long your tap line is, it's how you use it that counts...

Rouses can go frick them selves. I called specifically to see if they had duck breast before I made the long drive and they said yes. Got there and the only breast they had was stuffed with cream cheese and other shite so I passed. I asked where the pork belly was and the butcher said that they only carry it when on sale. I mentioned that it was on sale and in their weekly flyer and he then countered that they were out. That was my lone shopping experience there.

I'm a huge rouses fan but I'll be giving WF some of my paycheck too I'm sure... It looks great.

You'll love the bar/tap area. We have 20 taps at the new Whole Foods near my place in north Houston. Several breweries have already done tap takeovers (St. Arnold yesterday) and having a handy growler fill station is great!
