A Christmas tradition like none other. Attempt to eat the platter for two at Deanie's then go to the Penthouse smelling like a champ.

I have family from up north that insist on Deanie's when they come in, we usually order two of those for the table and everyone gets a few sides or gumbo or bbq shrimp.

I feel sick just looking at that.

I really can't handle fried foods anymore.

It looks good, but you're right. Fried foods just tear me up now too.

My new doctor ordered me on a low sodium diet, I was told no more fried foods and hamburgers. The no hamburgers thing is going to kill me.

Nothing better than fried shrimp done right.

Just don't fill up on it.

One or two to curb your appetite for them won't kill ya.

wtf downvoting my love for whole fried catfish??

you millenials suck. no school like old school. filets get BURNED UP and have little flavor.

a whole catfish..with the white meat near the bones..is some of God's greatest culinary creations.

Used to go every few weeks as a kid with my family and we would order that. Never realized how much we were devouring.

The best way to do catfish is to get them really cold almost frozen and slice them as thin as possible and fry them. I don't like too much catfish, I really enjoy it when thin and crsipy.

Not really. You enjoy the breading with a slight catfish taste.

Deanie's puts a lot on a plate, but have never been a fan of their product.

Give me Bevi for fried seafood any day.
