I'm not going to answer your question because I don't know, but I just ate on Wednesday my first hot chicken and waffles at Hattie B's in Nashville and am in love. I will be back once a week for the next few months until I get burnt out.

That does sound good. My brother and his family was there for the bowl game and he said the food was great.

J Macklins?
Looks like it's not too far from Grapevine, will have to give it a try.

I have not had the C&W there, but what I have had there is very good. The C&W came recommended.

I've had chicken and waffles at Breadwinners. Pretty solid
In Plano, Whiskey Cake does it pretty well.
Bacon waffle with tenders smothered in sausage gravy with an egg. I believe it also comes with some maple syrup/hot sauce concoction.
