Oh god no. It's good...but not 80 worth. But I guess based off your other prices (ehtsb 150 ) idk what else you should go for instead. Make a road trip this way and stock up or order online.

NOLA's right...I'd go $45-50 max on the Toasted, and that's if you really want it. I only drink that one in the fall/winter.

1PD: Looking at these 99L models, need hazmat juice

My pleasure, TA. I see you have a bottle of Elliot's Select. What did you think?

Thanks drock and NOLA! Sounds like a trip over this fall wouldn't hurt.
Check out your stores. Or from the looks of it, just head straight to TA's bunker. #theabsurdlyrudeselfinvite

Only store (and I've been in probably > 30) that I found the toasted barrel. Nothing in that store is worth any of the prices. I found a new store yesterday that had some nice selections at reasonable prices. Plus a good guy store owner. And within 5 miles of the house. I'll post some pics later.

PSA - New Rouse's in Baton Rouge has about 3 cases of Blanton's @ $52.99.

Edited price.

Is that when they selected a specific barrel and bottle it for them?

Anyone tried the BirdDog SmB yet? Got a cool label.

Either of these WTs worth it at these prices? 17yr $135 and Diamond $120. I've only had the 101 and RRSB (#delicious).

Must have just missed you...I popped in but didn't get anything.

I did pick up a handle of that Martin's ER10 pick to try...TA has said good things IIRC

It is good stuff. I have one right now and will probably go get more. I love those big bottles of that great juice.

The 17yr is really good. Whether it is $135 good is up for debate. Probably depends on how much $135 means to you.

The Diamond is most certainly not worth $120. Probably not worth $1.25.

Thanks SMS. I've made a point to stay South of $70 (pre tax) on my intro to the Bourbon world. Done pretty well thus far and so many great pours under that price point.

Only a few months ago all I had was 5 bottles. Here's the stash now minus 8 bottles emptied thus far. Pretty obvious where I lean. Might need to put the brakes on now..............YEAH RIGHT!!!

Nice Stash. It really gets ugly when you need a whole room to store them in.

That's all camping out on pantry floor. I've started looking for cabinets but the ones I like are >$2k. That's a lot of bourbon batman. I'm seriously thinking of building a Howard Miller knock off. If I do, I'll share pictures.

My 2 newest selections are up front and center. The 2 Rocks and ECBP (139.8). Very excited to try these based on the celebrated reviews.

Thanks for the heads up on Dorignac's today. I overpaid, but the satisfaction of finding what I was after was worth more that the amount that I overpaid. I got a hancock's reserve based upon its being in the BT#2 mashbill and the fact that I have never seen it before. It is light but very good. Glad I got it. Picked up a few Blanton's and a RHF. The RHF was $20 more than I paid for the last few, but What the hell??
