for a fun evening out with good food and good drinks near Galleria?

Americas
La Table
Chama Gaucha
Peli Peli
Pappas Bros. Steakhouse

or any other suggestions?

It is a business dinner, but we will have spouses and have all met before and want to have a fun night ... nothing pretentious.

I'm sure all of those are fine but will say that Peli Peli is one of my favorites (haven't been to Galleria location, only the 249 location).

If you want to stay in the Galleria area...Pappas Steakhouse, Cafe Annie, or Caracol

Thanks everyone. After researching Caracol, I think we will try that one with the two couples and save Peli Peli for the night before and Pappas for the night after. Looking forward to some good food!

And we are looking forward to your detailed review with pics that I can put into the Travel Board sticky....although the food board might end up with a similar sticky.

That's a pretty damn solid food lineup for 3 meals! You're gonna eat good.

I love Americas, but if work is paying the tab and Pappas is an option, then it's always the answer.
