Where would I go to find it? And how much is it? Some recipes would be welcome too.

Fresh Market sells individually packaged breasts. Nice lookin size, but expensive, $12/lb. maybe...

Cook them the same way you'd cook a steak.

OP, I'm looking into getting some also, whole, cleaned. You may want to try any specialty meat stores in your area, although I haven't checked around here yet.

That's what I was thinking since some of these local meat markets sell turduckens.

Precisely. If I can't find duck, that's what I'll be getting instead. Diners, Drive ins, and Dives has me wanting to try smoked duck pastrami.

I get farm-raised ducks from Chris's Specialty Meats in BR. I'm sure the specialty shops in Alec and NOLA would have them too. Chris sells them to me for cost so I don't know what they cost retail.

If you want some good duck from a restaurant, Emeril's NOLA restaurant has the best duck I've ever had. It's expensive but worth it.
