Is there a liquor store in or around baton rouge that sells 50 ml. bottles of alcohol? I need them for party favors. TIA

I don't think you'll be able to find a liquor store that will sell you 50ml bottles. If I'm not mistaken it's illegal in this state. The only place you may be able to find it, is at hotels/motels, maybe a hotel manager can hook you up.

Illegal in Louisiana. If you have a resale license you may be able to purchase them from a hotel supplier (I want to say International Wholesale even has them). Again this is some stupid law that makes no sense, I think a US state (South Carolina?) has a law that all bars can only use those bottles when serving liquor.

Here is a link to order them..

Yeah, it's supposed to be about "portion control" so the customer doesn't get "cheated" in his drink. Whatever... follow the money.

I looked it up, it was repealed in 2005. They said they had the nations strongest drinks,as 500ml=1.7 ounces. So there shots were much larger than the norm.

(ETA it was a trip to Myrtle Beach in 2002 that I remember seeing the mini-bottles in every bar)

So you can't smuggle them into Tiger Stadium like I do!

I went to south Carolina in 2000 and they had shelve full of airline bottles in their bar. Funniest damn thing. All the bartenders would tape their hands bc all they did all night was unscrew those little tiny bottles.
