Where to buy gumbo bowls in Nola

My Grandma had these (or something very similar) when I was a kid, and am looking to buy them in a store if I can. Anyone know of such a place?

I've got 2 of them. Love em. Use them all the time. Bottom says: Ljungberg Collection, New Orleans, Louisiana
Side is stamped: 1979

Those are pretty cool bowls and dishes. Thanks for the link. I have a slew of weddings coming up, and I rather give stuff like this than the ordinary ho-hum gifts at Bed Bath & Beyond.

They sell the Abigail's dishes we have as our wedding "China". The bowls are pretty killer. I think we probably have every dish they make.

The older stuff has way more hand working marks than the newer stuff we get, but I think it's all still Italian.

ETA: I wish it wasn't fleur de lis, but we've had it for almost 10 years now and it is what it is.

ETA2: My mom just gave me a huge set of these things. Not sure WTF we'll use them for.

I know what you mean. FYI I got $10 cheaper at the fesstival then what they list online, so if you find out where they will be, it may save you on that and on shipping.

My wife has a set of 4 of those from before we were married. She told me one time what they were for but i forgot. I've yet to see her use them.

My mom said they are French onion soup bowls, but I'm pretty sure she's never made that. I guess that's why we have them now.

, yeah, seems pretty useless. Since we make that once every 5 years I think I can manage to eat it out of regular bowls. My wife hates getting rid of stuff where as I'm the complete opposite of a hoarder (not sure if there is such a term).

It's a new TV show called The Minimalist.

Family members intervene and try to get people to quit throwing away stuff.

Just a TV on a milk carton and a jar of pickles? I could live like that.

re: Where to buy gumbo bowls in Nola
They're French Onion crocks and I find them too small to hold an entree size, but they work for an app size. Not my taste, though.

I like Abigail's pottery with the FDL. My niece got a ton of it for her wedding, last year. Too much.

I like that pottery posted above.

I'm sort of tired of those gumbo bowls from Adler's, though. I guess I've seen them so much. I like something different. I found some fun inexpensive bowls a few years that I bought. They're cuter than they look in the pic, but my kitchen is red with black and white ceramic tiled floor, black and white counter, white cabinets and black appliances, so these were fun for casual dining on black ceramic plates. I like the size, as well.
