Not a bad list, but Carousel bar is pretty damn touristy and Crabby Jack's - uptown? Really?

How is Sammy's? Thinking of picking up Thanksgiving dinner there for my mom since she doesn't really cook and we'll be in and out. Prices look pretty good.

That is a good question. I'm pretty sure I've seen a race or two on. But, if there is a big soccer or rugby match I would think no. Plus, it is one of the best places to watch the Saints.

There is only one race left this season so I was really looking for options next year.

I guess a lot of the races might be on too early some weeks

I feel like half of that list are places that tourists hit up.

IMO the restaurants on Freret have less tourists.

They won't let you change anything on the poboy, which sucks for some people.

That's what I thought too. Some local joints, but also some pretty touristy joints. Thrillest is also not my favorite site.

Yea, I definitely feel like High Hat should have been on the restaurant list.

Not going to lie, did stop off at Ave Pub thurs to end the night with pints and dump truck fries to go with the fromage grille add candied bacon. That ish is the best.
