Not a bad list, but Carousel bar is pretty damn touristy and Crabby Jack's - uptown? Really?

How is Sammy's? Thinking of picking up Thanksgiving dinner there for my mom since she doesn't really cook and we'll be in and out. Prices look pretty good.

Nice that Finn's made the bar list.

Hey glass, do they have F1 races on at Finns on Sunday mornings?

That is a good question. I'm pretty sure I've seen a race or two on. But, if there is a big soccer or rugby match I would think no. Plus, it is one of the best places to watch the Saints.

There is only one race left this season so I was really looking for options next year.
I guess a lot of the races might be on too early some weeks

Yeah, they are early. A good friend of mine loves F1.

I wasn't impressed with Killer Poboys, Nola poboy's Who Dat was the best, IMO

I feel like half of that list are places that tourists hit up.
IMO the restaurants on Freret have less tourists.

Sammy's on Elysian Fields....its good. Good poboys and plate lunches....just no parking.
Posted on 11/16/14 at 5:38 pm to Fun Bunch
IMO! Everyone has one
They won't let you change anything on the poboy, which sucks for some people.

That's what I thought too. Some local joints, but also some pretty touristy joints. Thrillest is also not my favorite site.

Yea, I definitely feel like High Hat should have been on the restaurant list.

Weakarse list. That looks like a phone in poll taken of people over the age of 60.
