Shouldn't regular mason jars do the trick? Just trying to make the recipe in the OP.

i dont see why they wouldn't. these are canning jars with gasket seals. Mason jars are used for "canning" all the time.

If you want that particular jar Sur La Table has them in a bunch of different sizes. That is a half pint.

If you want just mason canning jars any hardware store and Walmart.
