Most overrated brewery, and it pains me to say it because I like a lot of how they go about their business, is New Belgium. I don't even know if it's really even that highly rated any longer, but I kind of lump it in with Sam Adams when I'm at the store these days.

Good luck with that Autumn Maple. Belgian Strong + pumpkin spice + maple syrup and molasses

I have a feeling it isn't going to be great. Especially since i've lost my affinity towards pumpkin beers over the last 2 years.

Not that any are highly ranked, but don't get much out of any of Bayou Teche or Tin Roof beers.

I actually don't mind Turnrow, but I agree with this statement for the most part.

IMO Tart of Darkness is one of the better beers they make and isn't horribly priced.

DFH 90minute......I don't think I've ever liked anything from Dog Fish Head. So that would be my beer and brewery.

Pretty much any bourbon barrel beer is over-rated to me
Pumpkinator is terribly over-rated
Heady Topper is over-rated (really good, still)
Two Hearted is over-rated
Hop Delusion (I have no idea what it's rated but it's too high)

For breweries, I haven't had anything from Cigar City that I would worry about seeking out again
Prairie isn't over-rated but they are over-priced

You and Milo are gonna have to justify that one, because I don't see it.

Beer(based on list): Pliny the Elder

Brewery: New Belgium. Agree with B on Jester King, I appreciate their art, most of it just isn't for me though

As far as breweries go, The Bruery, Goose Island and New Belgium are all overrated IMO.

The Bruery makes some good stuff, but some of their offerings are undrinkable, just crazy sweet. Plus so much of their stuff is so expensive.

Goose Island's Bourbon County line is great as are the sisters, but their other stuff is all sorts of meh.

New Belgium very rarely makes anything that blows me away, but so many people act like Fat Tire is some amazing beer.

I asked this question before. They use an importer as a distributor, is what i was told. Thus their prices are high.

Shelton Brothers prices are high, but then again they are shipping out small batches all across the world, so I give them a pass. Their keg prices seem to be okay, but their bottle prices are too high for me sometimes.

My vote for most overrated beer: BCBS. It's really good, but not wait in line for a single 4-pack good.

Most overrated brewery is New Glarus. It's not bad, not great, but rather those frickstick yankees won't shut up about it sometimes.

Fair, but I tend to think of the "other stuff" as the stuff that allows them to brew those BCBS/variants/Sisters. It's almost like judging Parish off of Canebrake.

In my experience these people primarily drink Bud Light
