Mid 90's for me in nj.
Sierra pale started showing up at bars in nyc, sam adams was going, petes wicked ales and magic hat were around as well.
I moved to Northern California in '99 and the craft revolution was already in full swing.

I would say early 00's at the earliest. I would look at before then as laying roots.
If Abita is seen as the impetus moment, then yeah late 90s. I just don't know if Abita didn't stand alone for many years with little traction in the market for actual craft beer.

In Louisiana, definitely the early 2010 years. Parish, Great Raft, and NOLA all starting in 3/4 or the state's largest markets.
