What to use for a mixer

I want to limit using sodas and I don't want to drink with ice/water. Also not looking to get fat(er). Suggestions are welcome.

Your options are kind of limited then. I usually use fresh squeezed orange/lime/grapefruit juice.

Where did OP say sugar was off limits?

I love me a good old fashioned.

Yes, there is some sugar, but I'm of the belief that good booze and limiting the crap that's in soda or other bottled mixers helps prevent nasty hangovers.

What liquor, or spirit are you mixing? Whiskey, Rum, Vodka?
