What should I eat at jazzfest. This will be like a 1st dinner (5pm before the who come on).

What's the best/quickest way to get from JF to Warehouse District at the end of the day (7ish).

Streetcar?
Uber?
Walk?

Sorry if this has been discussed. I need my hand held.

Cuban sandwich
Crawfish sack or just get the combo plate

Think Uber would be the fastest if you can get one. Bike is the best option.

Watch out for Uber surge pricing with Jazzfest. My buddy said it was $44 to get from Lakeview to downtown earlier.

uber or cab will be your best bet. If you arent in a rush, there are plenty of pedi cabs around there

Pedicab can may be most cost effective. I was worried about uber price gouging. I'd rather walk a couple of miles than pay $40

A pedicab from the Fairgrounds to the WHD. Good luck with that.

It's not quick by any means. But it was scenic and pretty fun. It's about 4miles

and I thought my ride with a tiny girl pedaling from the quarter on the marigny side to red eye was crazy.

I mean it's jazz fest. Id rather a 20 min bike ride than a 1 hour wait for the streetcar or cab.

Uber is prob ideal assuming the rates aren't rediculous.

The cuban is from Canseco's. I like it because it's extremely portable.

The Uber machine wasn't too bad yesterday. Highest surge I saw was 2.9x which isn't nearly as bad as I've seen during other events. Just might take some time to get one. I couldn't find one late last night. Of course Saturday is more crowded so that surge might go up.

Pedi cabs were everywhere.

How did you get down there? Seems like the same mode of transportation would be available, no?

Fried pork chop sandwich
Soft shell poboy

Pedicab. Wouldn't walk.
