What restaurants receive love on here that actually deserve it?

From what I've read so far, seems like there are a lot of differences in opinion as what restaurants actually deserve the love that they receive on this board. Mason's and Jasmine's are two examples. That being said, what restaurants in Baton Rouge actually deserve the praise and accolades heaped upon them by the FDB?

People seem to like La. Lagniappe pretty consistently. Gino's too.

AM Mart? I don't know. It seems like BR restaurants just get bashed here all the time. I thought Mason's was the most loved (I've never been but have wanted to try it) but looks like that other thread has revealed plenty of haters.

this is still Opinion driven,
Chelseas is always a hit for me,
Byronz Bistro is also very consistant.
Rauls Burger joint next to the Chimes is a good bite for the buck.

I personally think Curbside is kinda overrated, sorry.

I do like Beausoleil, although their chargrilled oysters were the worst I've ever had.

But not the one in Baton Rouge. All other locations.

No apologies necessary. I just don't see anything on their menu that says overrated compared to the competition here. Overrated compared to the other options, I disagree. Overrated compared to people blowing it up like a spiritual transformation, yeah. It's just a well done burger, fries, and ingredients. That's all, and compared to its competition locally, it shines, perhaps more than it should, but it shines just the same IMO

I mean their burgers are good, but the wait time is insane sometimes. That and the fact that one time they gave my food to someone else. I've eaten there like 4 or 5 times and all of the little inconsistencies have pushed me to the point that I don't go out of the way for it anymore.

my favorite food truck was Ignatius Reilly's, but they aren't around anymore

I actually find this board to be fairly spot on by and large. Not going to list all the restaurants but the recs I have received have worked out for me, that includes local and out of town.......
