The orange color dressing akin to thousand island. You'd see it everywhere years ago as it was a ubiquitous staple at several restaurants. Anyone seen it lately?

It was my favorite growing up, but I haven't had it in years.

Are French and Catalina the same?

I loved it as a kid. Then one day... hated it. You're right, though. I haven't seen it in years.

I cant answer your question, but maybe a fast food place should put it on a burger. Compete against the thousand island big mac.

When I Googled it said they were, but it wasn't "credible" sources.

What is the difference?

IIRC, it has been years, Catalina is a sweeter, more tomatoey dressing than French. And more superficially, Catalina has more of a red orange hue while French is that straight up "I'm gonna go shoot me a deer" orange.
