What is the most "trying-too-hard" beer discussed on this board?

I've recently been exploring new brews based off the recommendations of this board and it has been a great experience so far. However, I am beginning to notice that some beers on here are held in higher regard because posters want create an image and try to 'look cool' while they drink them.
All I care about is substance. Help me separate the wheat from the chaff.
